Bengaluru-based Agri-Tech startup SUIND has raised funding of Rs 5 crore in the seed round which was led by Sunicon Ventures. Zetta Farms and other angel investors also participated in this funding round.
SUIND is a drone technology startup started in the year 2020 by Kunal Shrivastava and Kevin Kleber. This company provides solutions like real time crop monitoring and treatment to the farmers.
The funding raised by Suind will be used to advance the development of its drone technology and expand its services to more Indian farmers. The startup is already working with a number of agricultural firms across India, and the additional funding will enable it to reach more customers and provide them with even more valuable insights into their farming operations.
The agricultural sector is one of the largest contributors to the Indian economy, and advances in drone technology are expected to have a significant impact on the industry. The use of drones in agriculture reduces the time and cost required to monitor large-scale farming operations, while simultaneously providing farmers with insights and information that would be impossible to obtain through traditional methods.
