Ashneer Grover was born on 14 June 1982 in Delhi. Ashneer belonged to a rich and educated family. His father was a Chartered Accountant and his mother was a teacher.

Ashneer completed his graduation in B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi. During his graduation, Ashneer Grover was selected for a student exchange program and went to the National Institute For Applied Sciences Lyon in France in 2002 as an exchange student and received a scholarship of 6000 Euros from the Embassy of France. After graduating from IIT Delhi, he completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Entrepreneurial journey of Ashneer Grover

Ashneer Grover joined Kotak Investment Banking in 2006 after receiving his MBA degree and after working here for 7 years, he had become the Vice President of this company, then he realized that his work in this company is over and if he wants to move forward in his professional career, he should change his company.

And with this ideology, Ashneer resigned from Kotak Investment Bank in 2013. At this time Ashneer Grover was financially stable. Ashneer then worked as the Director of Corporate Development at American Express from 2013 to March 2015.

He was the Chief Financial Officer of Grofers from 2015 to 2017 and he played a key role in making Grofers raise $ 170 million in funding. A
