Mark Zuckerberg was born in White Plains New York on May 14, 1984. His father’s name is Edward Zuckerberg, who worked as a dentist and his mother’s name is Karen Kempner, who has been a psychiatrist by profession. He also has three sisters in his family.

Mark did his early studies at Ardsley High School and after that, he went to study at Phillips Exeter Academy. Mark was very good in his studies from the beginning, which is why he won many prizes in Science and Classical Studies at Phillips Exeter Academy. He was also the captain of his school’s fencing team.

You might be surprised to know that Mark wrote in his college application that he can not only speak but also write languages like French, Hebrew, Latin, and Ancient Greek. All these things made him different from other children and also showed how talented he was.

This website remained active for a few days but it was closed by the college because the photos of the students were posted on this website without their permission, due to which Mark had to apologize publicly. But Mark was not bothered by the incident because from the beginning he had the intention of doing something big and good.

In January 2004, Mark started programming for his new website ‘thefacebook.com’, and launched it on 4 February 2004. Initially, this website was only for Harvard students, but later Mark expanded it to other places and removed the name of TheFacebook to just Facebook.

It was only in 2004 that Mark decided to drop out of Harvard University and shifted to Palo Alto with some of his friends where he rented a house and started working on his website. Meanwhile, Facebook started becoming very popular, and big companies made offers to buy Mark’s Facebook, but Mark rejected all these offers because he knew that Facebook could become a huge company in the future.

Later, Facebook became very popular, and as its users grew, so did its features, and by July 2010, 500 million users had been completed, which was a wonderful thing in itself. And after 2 years of this, in 2012, Facebook got 1 billion users, which was a very proud moment in the history of Facebook.

At the same time, another social media platform(Instagram) was becoming very popular and Mark understood that later this platform would be very popular, that is why Mark bought Instagram and in 2014 Zuckerberg also bought WhatsApp.
